Nicholas and Mary had one son, Thomas Pierce Butler born 6 May 1815 in Glenmore County Kilenny. Thomas Pierce married Margaret Keeffe in 1848. They had 6 children, 5 females and one male, James Thomas Butler b July 27 1862 in Glenmore County Kilkenny and died in 1892 in Glenmore County Kilkenny. James Thomas married Ellen Norris on Sep 18 1893. James and Margaret had 5 children, 3 females and 2 males. James and Margaret's old son was Thomas Andrew Butler, my grandfather. He was born on May 31 1894 and died on Dec 3, 1967 in Peoria, Illinois. Thomas Andrew married Estella Maloney on Jul 14, 1920 in Peoria, Illinois. They had two son's, James Thomas and Thomas Andrew Jr, my father.
