Notes for Miles O. Butler
Miles was in Marion Co. South Carolina in 1860. He joined Co. E, 40th Regiment NCT (3rd Regiment NC Artillery) on 8/27/1861 along with Isham Butler (possible brother?).
He shows up in 1870 census in Robeson Co. North Carolina with his children and new wife. He is listed in the will of Elias Butler 7/29/1850 in Marion County South Carolina. (Possible father? No proof yet)
