Fountain Winston Butler who was born 15 May 1825. Census records indicate that he was born in Mississippi. He married in Lawrence County MS in 1846 and remained there until enlisting in the Civil War. He died 13 December 1863 at the Union prison at Point Lookout, Maryland. His widow and children remained in Lawrence County MS
